What is the low power mode on an iphone

As it can be understood from the name of the mode, its task is to save the maximum battery charge for it to last for a longer time. In Low Power mode, the operating system disables features that do not play a special role on the functionality of the device. For example:

Various beautiful animations for opening / closing applications, browsing desktops and other additional visual effects are going to be disabled;

Internet connection activity is limited. Even if the iPhone is connected to Wi-Fi, in Low Power mode it will not download updates, update mail in the background, and perform other network operations that have a strong effect on energy consumption;

The overall performance of the device in Low Power mode will be decreased. If you start a productive game in the power saving mode, you will notice that it slows down. The fact is that the iPhone lowers the processor operating frequency leaving it at a level that is enough to work only with basic applications.

Important note: When you turn on the Low Power saving mode on your iPhone, the battery indicator in the upper right corner changes to yellow.
