How to send a posstponed message in Telegrams from a computer
Let’s consider the operation of this function using the example of the official Telegram client for a computer.
Please note: This function works the same way in Telegram clients for Windows and MacOS both.
To send a postponed message, go to the chat where you want to send it. After that type your message down and right click on the send icon.
You are going to see a context menu. Now select “Schedule message”.
In the middle of the Telegram client you are going to see a window where you need to set the sending time. Select the required date and time, then click “Schedule”.
When you scheduled your message, it will be displayed in the chat next to the message line in the form of a calendar with a red dot. You can click on this icon to go to all scheduled messages in case you would like to edit or delete them.
How to send a postponed message in Telegrams from your phone
Now let’s look at how the same function works in the official Telegram application on the phone.
Please note: This function works the same way on iOS and Android both.
To send a postponed message, go to the desired chat with a specific user or a group of users. Enter your message and hold your finger on the send button.
You are going to see a context menu, where you need to select “Schedule message” to set the sending time.
Now set the desired time and date on the timer and click “Send”.
As you can see, sending postponed Telegram messages is quite convenient. You do not need to go to distant menus to set the desired timing.
